In2It Gel Blusher

A very low profile brand. If I'm not wrong, this is under the same company as Silky Girl.

Watson's used to carry this brand, but I think they have now pulled out of Singapore. However, I manage to come across this in Watson's at Killiney Road, next to Crystal Cafe.

There was 50% for all In2It products. I reckon they are trying to clear stock and after that I will be so sad. Cos I really love this blusher.

It is gel form and really gives a very natural flush. The colour is very subtle, yet visible natural (do I make sense? Haha..)

The colour looks very intense in the tube and when squeezed out, but once you spread it, it's not. And the colour is buildable. So start conservatively especially for beginners.

Try looking at the photo below at a distance to see the colour. Photo doesn't do justice to this blusher!

The photo below shows the colour after applying Izu Loose Power over it. Makes it even more natural.

It is written on the tube "8-hour wear". Which is true as shown below. Colour still exist although loose powder doesn't I think. =)

Cure Natural Aqua Gel

Good recommendation from Shitty Bitch. There are also many other products of similiar function in the market such as Ginvera Marvel Gel and Sansho Skin Renewal Gel. Long ago, Follow Me also has a product like this, but I'm not sure if it's still around now.

This exfoliating gel has no rough beads to risk over exfoliating your skin. It is 90% water! So should be suitable for sensitive skin too.


Ingredient list directly lifted from their site:
1) Water - 90.66%
Activated hydrogen water from purified water used.

2) Glycerin - 5%
Widely used moisturising ingredient that contains high hygroscopic nature and has been used for a long time.

3) Crosspolymer - (Acrylares/C-10-30 Alky Acrylate)
The same liquid as used by ophthalmologists for eye surgery. We use it for thickerner.

4) Dicocodimonium Chloride.Steartrimonium Bromide
It is to respond to old deadskin. Commonly used for conditioner.

5) Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract - <1%>
An expected ingredient that moisturises and protects rough dry skin.

6) Ginkgo Biloba Extract - <1%>
Extract from ginkgo, expected to moisturise, to prevent skin mottle and freckles

7) Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract - <1%>
It has anti-inflammation and antibacterial effects and is expected skin problems solutions.

8) Butylene Glycol - <1%>
Colour-free and scent-free moisturising liquid.


Some say it has a funky smell, but I don't really smell anything leh.. (I can almost see Gentle Bitch with a doubtful face).



So you start with a dry face (either cleanse first and pat dry or just start with your dirty face. I like to start with my dirty face in the morning...)


And you pump out enough gel onto your palm for your whole face.


I use 3 pumps.

Then apply all over your face.




And rub...

And rub...

And rub...



Voila! Dead skin rubbed off!




Rinse and cleanse with your regular cleanser and you are done! Skin feels smoother and looks brighter.

3M Nexcare Acne Patch

3M Nexcare Acne Patch is supposed to be a water-based material that you paste over pimple/ acne and it will absorb the oil secretion and pus.

3 of the 5 bitches have tried this before and very mixed reviews.


Whiney - No rants, no raves. It doesn't fo any good for pimples, neither did it aggravate it.

Gentle - Loves this. Says it does good and subsides her pimples fast. She says it only works for pimples with pus or after you squeeze it.

Shitty - Is in a terrible state because of this. From a small pimple, to the monster below:

Shitty is so upset now. She went to see a doctor and have to go back for a review. If it doesn't subside, she will have to go to the hospital. Poor Shitty.... use this product with caution and may she recover soon.

Eyeko Cream & Tinted Cream

I read many raves about this cream online so I bought it (on impulse) from http://www.eyeko.com/.

This is a 3-in-1 eye cream, highlighter and moisturiser. Personally, I only it only as a highlighter.

The cream is very pearlised. And it comes in a cute pink packaging which was what attracted me to buy it in the first place.

Upon application, the shimmer is very pretty and subtle. It doesn't make you look like a disco ball like some highlighters. I like to use it on my nose bridge, chin, cheeks and eyes to highlight and make my face more 3D. This goes on top of my BB cream if I am wearing any. For those with good skin, it's actually very pretty to wear on its own.

I also got the counterpart Eyeko Tinted Cream as it was going for USD$8 for one and USD$13 for both with free shipping to anywhere!

The colour of the tinted cream looks scary in the pot, but it is not.

Upon application, it gives a very bronzy glow. I would think if you are very very fair, it might look fake on you. I tried using this all over my face and using Eyeko Cream to highlight parts like nose, cheeks, forehead and it looks alright on me.

No coverage for this cream so don't expect blemishes to hide behind it.

A can-do-with, can-do-without product.

Dr Jart Black Label Detox Healing BB Cream

I bought the sample from an online seller for $5.

Regretted. Not only did it not impress me with it's too sheer coverage, bad oil control and nothing to rave about texture, it clogged my pores and made me bumpy for a week!!

BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream & Protect Multiplex Balm BB Cream

Although it is supposed to be free, you have to pay for shipping and handling nonetheless. So I requested for 2 of the many BRTC BB cream, Jasmine Water and Protect Multiplex Balm.

And I concluded that I can't tell the difference between the 2 BB creams. HAHA!

Texture, colour, smell and everything is the same to me. So as you read on, you can assume when I talk about one, I am talking about the other too.

The texture is thick, which is one part i don't like about it. Makes me feel like I'm wearing alot of make-up after application.

I love the colour though. It gives a brightening effect after application and coverage is very good as well; comparable to Dr. G's.

Oil control is not good. Looks oily during mid-day.

Because of the texture and bad oil control, I stuck to Dr. G and did not buy the full size for this. That also explains the lack of photos for these 2 products. Haha.

Gowonsesang or Dr. G BB Cream

BB Cream... the craze that took over many girls a few months back.
I was one of them apparently. Haha...

So, the first BB Cream I tried was a *thumbs ups*.






Of all the BB cream I tried, this has the best coverage plus oil control. I was using mineral foundation from Melange before this and happy to say that I'm glad to have made the switch.



This is easier to apply and lasts longer. No more brush needed every morning, which is good coz I save the hassle of washing the brush every 2 days *anal about cleanliness of make up and skin care products*.



Texture wise, thicker as compared to L'egere BB Cream, thinner than BTRC, but still easy to smooth over my face and blend.



Shade wise, can be a little pinkish and fair when just applied. But after one hour or so, it becomes natural looking even for my tanned skin.

Much lighter compared to L'egere BB Cream.

I used to dab some under my eye as a undereye concealer and it doesn't cake as well.

Overall, it's a must-have for me at the moment!

L'egere BB Cream

This BB cream came as a free gift with my purchase of the L'egere blusher.

This BB cream is sheer, with a thin texture, and a slightly orange tint and darker tone. It will not be suitable for fair skinned people.


Colour is much darker as compared to Dr. G's.







Coverage is really sheer and doesn't really cover blemish marks. More like for a overall evening of skin tone and giving a healthy glow.

I like to use this when I'm don't feel like going out naked faced and don't feel like putting too much make up either.

L'egere Mineral Blusher

L'egere is more well known for it's BB Cream, but I bought the blusher instead.

Not a cheap product, but I was attracted to the colour. It's like a deep rose colour which I think it would be too dark for fair skinned people and more suitable for tanned skin. That's why I bought it.

The pigment is really super for this blusher. Just a few specks of powder goes a loooooong way. Do take note to go easy with this. Start with a few tiny spots of powder and add on later.

As this is mineral make up, i use a kabuki brush to apply.

Just like this bit can produce an intense colour:

Colour is quite lasting and exist still at the end of the day.

Overall, good product but slightly pricey.
